While I was writing my previous post I realize that I haven’t really optimize this website. I worked a lot to improve the speed of http://energies2demain.com but I did nothing for this one.
And for someone who tried to sale him-self as a “web-optimizer” it is not something to be proud of. So I’m going to optimize it. But first I want to share and save what is the current performance state. This is going to be useful for people who want to see how much we can improve performance.
My current Yslow grade is :

My page speed grade is
Page Speed Grade may 2010
These grades are not that bad. But there are just default WordPress grade : I mean I did nothing to make that better. And when you look at the waterfall and the optimization board, you can clearly see that :

My plan will be :
- configure cache and ETAG
- optimize Theme CSS
- optimize theme JavaScript
- compression
- optimize plugins
My goal is to load the website before 2 seconds. And this is not going to be that easy, because my website is host in France and I’m in California.
